D Pod - 26 Chia Dossier

Chia is the oldest daughter of the pods Matriarch, Dokkoon, although she does not seem to play the role of 'second in command' as she theoretically should. That job seems to belong to Chia's younger sister, Coorah, who is more dominant than sweet Chia. She just doesn't have the heart to discipline other pod members.

Chia had her first and only child when she was 17 years old, a bull named Odyss. Odyss was a very sickly calf for the first few years of his life and if it wasn't for Chia's strong determination to feed and protect him, he likely would have died. The bond that Chia has with her son is bizarre. While it is normal for females to form strong bonds with their male calves, Chia takes this a step further and does everything for Odyss to the point of obsession. She even sacrifices food for herself to feed him, causing Chia's alarming underweight body condition.
