Odyss and Chia

D26 Chia, is 40 years old and this is her son and only child, D24 Odyss, who is 23 years old.
When Odyss was young, he was very sick for the first few years of his life. If it wasn't for Chia's determination to protect him, he would have died. Chia made sure he ate as much as he could to keep his body strong, even sacrificing food for herself so he could have more. She saved his life and eventually Odyss overcame his illness, but his mother was still overprotective with him and kept over feeding him. Eventually Odyss grew fat and lazy and expected his mother to hunt for him even as a grown adult, which she did. Odyss would often rest at the surface while the pod were hunting, causing the top of his dorsal to lean.
While  Odysss grew fatter, Chia got thinner. Her very thin and underweight body is alarming to researchers, but she seems to be doing fine.
